Two new baby shower invitation designs are up on tiny prints. These designs were especially meaningful to me, as I am currently pregnant and expecting my second child in only five days! For 7 months we had an envelope taped on our fridge (which stated if our baby was a boy or girl). Yes - for real! We never peaked. And even if we had wanted to, well we couldn't, as the hospital knew better and there was a black bar printed in the envelope so if you held it up to the light you couldn't see anything.
We (ok, mostly me) decided to open it up on New Years Eve. My husband & I were at Mortons (the steak house) and had our waiter bring us dessert with either a blue or a pink candle. (We in advance had handed him the envelope.) We found out we're having a girl and I think it was great not to know for 8 months and exciting to know for the last one... And I was even able to get some warm, winter girlish onesies before they all left the stores to make room for the spring clothing! (It's still pretty chilly here on the east coast.)
